Ogwell Oddbods at East Dart Falls - Gone

We went to check two of our boxes today. Unfortunately, the box we placed at East Dart Falls (reg no: 45979 in Catelogue ) is missing - no box or evidence of any of its contents, just the hole and stones. So disappoining and as daughter asked 'why do people take letterboxes?' If anyone has removed it because it was damaged / wet etc, please let us know - our contact details were very clear on box and book. Such a shame as it was only placed this summer and was well visited. We last checked in end of October and all was well.

After seeing in Catalogue update that our Laughter Tor box was 'missing', we went up to check on it and sure enough it has gone (no evidence apart from the hole!) Not only that, but the whole area of Laughter Tor has been stripped of boxes. As we didn't get chance to check it before it was 'taken', did anyone find it????? Getting somewhat disheartened, especially as we are going to have a go at hand carving some stamps - think these will be WOMs!!
