Hello folks,

I took this photo at Hexworthy, near the bridge. Something caught my eye. See the beige colour object towards middle right by the river's edge, now zoom in if you can. What does this look like to you?

Happy to send photo to folk, if you can't zoom in via this forum.

Cheers

OK I have spent ages looking at this - it looks like a child wearing an oversized bouyancy aid - but why I dunno

Several folk think it looks like a wood carving hanging from the tree. If you look at the top of it's "head" looks like a rope is going up into the tree?

I'm going back there next month, so I'm going to see if there's anything there, like a dead tree, or an item of clothing, or something....

Cheers

Sorry - would bin this.

'Candid Camera' comes to mind! Staged - as most of the entries in 'You`ve Been Framed.

(Probably a 'blow up' doll )

Excuse me TWA - definately not staged. Just noticed it on the photo, and thought I'd share with you folk. no trickery.

Note to Moderators: please remove this post if folk think it's staged.

Thanks

Sorry for my last post - it was a bit flippant!

It obviously is a Yeti, incognito, on holiday here! Should have seen that straight away! Well done for capturing such a unique photo.

It doesn't matter where you are - there will always be the sceptics amongst us - I thought it to be a bit of curious fun or is it a ghost?

Is TWA afraid of ghosts and gone into denial?

Am I insane... perhaps - but seriously it has definitely piqued my curiosity

I have been meaning to go and check this out as I know the spot where the photo was taken from very well. I drive along the main road 1 mile from it everytime I go to the moors. But sadly since this was taken the weather has taken a turn for the worse - we now have fog, misty drizzle, torrential rain, so not been out all week. :(

How can this be a puppet at that distance - imagine the size of the hand!

Do not expect the Yeti Immigration Control Unit are happy that a member has been spotted!.

Newsflash - unidentified Yeti seeking asylum in UK has demanded accommodation in Kensington (since Buckingham Palace is not available!!!)

Ha - well I've been today and checked the river as I went past. Will try and upload my photo later. Sadly I couldn't take the photo from exactly the same spot as - a) a tree had fallen across the river and b) the little field that is just before the bridge was full of scouts or cubs having some sort of Jamboree. Tents and marquees everywhere, so I couldn't get past the fallen tree. Didn't see anything though, but will try again.
