Everyone has had their 'memorable days' on Dartmoor, those days that stay in the memory, but are too many too choose a favourite. What about those days when something happens that you just can't explain.
How many of us have had those.

There were 4 people dragging canoes over Winney's Down. Each had there own 'minder' egging them on. That was odd.
We saw a tornado (whirlwind weather type) near Skir Gut, though they aren't exactly strange - more rare.
Then we were near New Bridge on the old Okehampton Ring Road in rain and fog and came across a seemingly abandoned search and rescue helicopter. Silent and deserted it was. Waiting for an emergency or a sunny day - we're still not too sure.
