Back to the moor at last. we got out today to tackle the dizzy heights of Yes Tor and the PDSA walk. Didn't get very far ( 5 of 12), being beaten back from our assent of Yes Tor by a vigorous snow shower. Having Mr Clever eyes ( age 4) with us we decided to head back down the hill on known tracks and then spent a fruitful half hour below Row Tor collecting another 6 boxes and finishing off all the sandwiches before calling it a day .

Fantastic views across to Exmoor in between snow showers, it was clear blue sky day except when the sky was full of snow. Our 1st trip into that part of the moor, what a fantastically wild place so close to home .Mr Clever eyes liked being the highest kid in southern England.

why 2nd finds?? well it was our second boxing trip of the year, Last weekend we popped over to Sourton and picked up a few of the NDS&R walk boxes, before calling it a day when Mr clever eyes was being blown off his feet near the top.

Did the snow settle? Was the PDSA walk in good condition? Should this post have gone in Letterboxing, instead of Social Room? :D

Only joking. Well done for a successful day's letterboxing.

They are nice stamps arn't they, quite big. We had good impressions from all but one , BUT that was the one we found while it was snowing hard, I was struggling to keep book dry and sheltered while shovelling chocolate into 4 yr old, it got a bit smudged. NOT the stamp makers fault in any way.

One has been moved a little from original hidey hole ( which is now under water) so is not very well hidden. Other wise they seemed like pretty good but not desperately hard finds.
