There is a little thing that nags us every time we visit this website. Its just a minor thing...
The fact that features at the bottom of the forum page:
Its nearly 3-and-a-half years ago! We've visited this forum when theres been 20+ users online so WITC suggest an attempt at beating this figure of 67!!
- It'll bring www.dartmoorletterboxing.org's forum a bit more up-to-date!
- We want to play a part in it, and we missed it the last time!
- No-one can remember what happened on that November night in 2007.

WHY?? The use of the most on line is standard that most, but not all, forum site give one. Not sure it really matters. :o

Good thought, although folk will just write any old nonsense - unless there's some kind of register via a poll, to register your visit at that time? - but I've noticed the clock when things are posted is not right!....

Not sure this activity will achieve much but at least it may well stir some more interest from the multitude of 'bystanders' associated to the Forum
Maybe it should be entitled ''Where were you when...'' - as when JFK was shot in Dallas! At least it is a sensible subject and less likely to attract 'tacky' posts.

sadly most of those "users" were bots (computers scanning websites looking for somewhere to dump their spam). One day it will happen - the number of members we have should allow this number to be beaten easily, but if you look at it there are so many who have never posted

Just signing in to make sure "I was there" if we beat the 2007 record, but seeing that there is there a grand sum of 3 of us, then I doubt this will be a momentus occasion...........................

I went and did the Cornish Crosses walk up to Hameldon Beacon today - it was just so hot - not a breath of wind. Fortunately I had done the ones around Wind Tor a week ago. So glad to see the car come into view - I was absolutely exhausted. its far too hot, too soon. Bet we have an early Autumn and very long winter!!!
