Have been up on the Moor most days over the last ten days or so. I'd heard the first (for me) cuckoo two weeks ago - now cuckoos seem to be everywhere! And up to mid week I'd been wondering where all the foals had got to - suddenly there seem to be dozens, and totally delightful too. As if they had all been born on the same day. With bluebells kicking in, flowers generally blooming, our Moor is really now looking its beautiful best! Unbeatable!

We were in the Brat, Arms and Links Tors area today. We could hear several cuckoos down by Doetor Brook. Couldn't see any though.
