What would you like for Christmas that you could use for Letterboxing?

I did not know that there was a timescale to express 'Ch' - whatever was meant!
I am Christian and proud of it and not afraid to announce the coming of an annual festivity that praises the Lord and gives peoples the opportunity to show their inner feeliings towards others, family or friends.

 I think perhaps Nik meant that as its now December we can mention the Ch word. If you listen to Radio Devon the presenters all got together and vowed not to mention Christmas until Dec. This was when some shops and hotels were putting up decorations in October and one shop was mentioned which was playing Carols at the end of October.
Well that's how I took Nik's post - but I expect he will explain himself.
Just another thought lets not mention the Ea word until April - we all know the Ea Eggs will be on the shelves straight aftter the Ch word
Oops forgot to say - think some nice fluffy walking socks may find their way under my Christmas tree - that's when I put it up!!!!

Let me put it this way - I love Christmas or at least what it used to stand for, petty bickering with the family with relations you never see during the rest of the year - that soppy kiss from your grandmother, the oversized jumper, socks, washing gear, and of course the advent calendar, not forgetting midnight mass.
Not the overhyped over commercialised drivel we are subjected to for months ahead of Advent, usually stuffed in our faces before the first sparkler has been lit for bonfire night.
Christmas used to be the opening of a door with some joyful picture, none of this chocolate rubbish, until the 24th (never understood why the nativity scene was on the 24th in some calendars) and then the attempted insomnia to try to see Santa (never succeeded), when I lived in London I had to wait until after the Queens speech before I could open my prezzies. Only to fake the sheer enjoyment of what I had been given.
Oddly over the years, I came to value one present more than any other, it used to be 2/- (10p), after the change in the physical size of money it went upto 40p. I valued this more than cheques for £20 or more, I got this present every year until about 10 years ago when my Great Aunt eventually passed away.
In addition to the passionate hatred of Christmas before advent, I was unemployed for a very long time and I hated Chistmas because it reminded me of the stuff I could afford to get anyone with it being only the duration of 24 days of Advent it makes it bearable.
And what I would like for Christmas - cheap access to the moors

What I like best about letterboxing is that we don't really need things to do it :)
I am however getting some of that easy carve stuff and cutters to have a go at making a couple of stamps. I'll enjoy the process even if they're rubbish.....
