Without this man, Lt. Col. William Mudge, we may not have letterboxing as we know it.

Who was he? Someone, who never really received the recognition he deserved along with the Royal Engineers, who mapped out the country including Dartmoor. Drawn at 1 inch to the mile.

I would love a copy... Anyone got one they don't want?
