Thought I would just say hello :D
Completely new member but long time letterboxer
Was many years ago I started when I was young, used to live in okehampton and mother would often take us up and me and my brother would always go a hunting for letterboxes
Been a few years since I left okehampton and missed the Moors dearly and as part of new year me and my partner are doing the classic getting fit thing haha
I used to love letterboxing so we got some paper and an inkpad and went up bray tor
Only found two and rembered there being loads up there
But my plan worked and now my partner has the bug for it :D
So that's a bit about us hope to get to know you all and would love to know some good routes or spots or meets

Hi Shaun & Emma! Welcome to the - slightly quiet - forum!
I hope that you can continue your resurgence in Letterboxing. The Spring Meet is the best place to (re)start. In case you were not aware, 'Meets' still happen on Clock Change Sundays, and the next one is March 31st 2019 @ Lee Moor Village Hall (10am-4pm, refreshments available). With loads of charity walks for sale, the new Catalogue to purchase, the opportunity to collect many stamps, and talk to other Letterboxers, it is worth the journey.
If you haven't joined the lively Dartmoor Letterboxing Facebook group yet, I'd advise it. It can offer motivation on grim Winter days!
Finally, read the old posts on this forum which'll provide lots of route suggestions for successful Letterbox walks.
The best of luck!
Ian
