Bog_baby - sadly Reg the bull mastiff dog died last year. I met him and his owner Gary at the meet and Reg was not very well then - he was a huge dog and very friendly. Gary got in touch later to say he had passed away. Very sad. Hopefully Gary is still around, though as would be expected walking o...

Think I understand following a bearing, triangulation and stuff but.....do I need to add or take away a few degrees from each of the clues to account for magnetic north or whatever it is??? Can't quite g...

Finally sent of for....

Finally sent off for 100 club badges for my son and his nephew as their books are full to bursting with the stamps they've found, the details (from an email I received) are: Most people email a list of what they have found as the post is a bit expensive now. Please send details of your son & his...

Heading to the moors :-)

Going down to Plymouth tomorrow, planning to go letter boxing with the kids around Sharp tor (the one near Dart Meet). It's one of my favourites but I'm hoping for better weather this time. Last time my son got his feet stuck in a bog and sat down in it, my husband went to help him and sank in the m...

Reg, not found any dog leads but did find a red and black dog ball - a really solid one. Now gracing a spot in my flat. Thanks for the advice on here - Yesterday I forgot the bite cream (for insects BTW not snakes) Tim got eaten! oops Also in addition to beer money don't forget the ice cream money ...

I expect they are kids boxes, understandably not everyone is very keen on these as they often turn into litter. Great if you have kids like me though :-) I've been told on here that they can count, you just write a word to describe the stamp and where you found it ie dog - Hound Tor. It depends how ...

Pill pots that are used are quite large although I don't think they're used as much any more (might be wrong) as they're more difficult to get hold of now. I also thi...

Thanks! (and for the help with directions!) The little one is a pretty good walker (doesn't have much choice really!)
