Re: Some Missing Boxes

The Richard II box (p.75) is NOT the Richard II box that is on Peek Hill. The Peek Hill box is part of a Word Of Mouth series entitled Book Owls.

Re: Have ewe seen this - Devonport Leat

Where did you find the box? Perhaps that information might help others to identify the box / stamp.

Family Animals

Does anyone have the clues to a series of letterboxes named Family Animals On Dartmoor . I found No.1 - George (a tropical fish) in a poor condition and removed it from the moor. If the other 4 boxes in this series are not being maintained then they should also be removed. However, if the other boxe...

Re: Box found High Dartmoor Snowdon Brook page 602

The High Dartmoor - Snowdon Brook letterbox is one of a series, put out as a walk in the Two Bridges area. The series was original put out by Pebbles & Co., who retired from letterboxing. The remaining unissued stamps were acquired by The Hand Of Man who then sited them on the moor. It seems tha...

Hi,
The 'Tamerton Treacle Miners' is the name of letterboxers and not a letterbox.

Hi Does anyone still have the clues to the Family Animals On Dartmoor series? I found the No.1 - George at Combshead Gert yesterday. The lid of the pot was in pieces, the book was dry but sticking out of the pot, the stamp, a shop bought type, was in perfect condition. I feel that this box was not b...
