Hi Mooncat, and welcome! I go boxing with my three and my youngest is now 5 1/2, so I know how difficult it can be. I used to try and get onto the moor by myself at every available opportunity, then run about like a mad hare trying to find boxes and noting their location. Then when I took my kids ou...

Hi Tina, I was out today - started at the Plume, went to Nun's Cross, the Duck's Pool, then Chile's Cross and back again. Was a gorgeous day out! I won't be able to get onto the moor over the weekend as it is my daughter's birthday and she's having a sleep-over party! Guess I'll be playing waiter to...

Julian, personally I avoid using Google check-out like the plague! That company is as close to an evil empire as the world has seen! They track your web activity, the psy-profile you and now they're collecting and STORING people's financial data! Remember, this is the same company that co-operates w...

Nik, of course everybody's entitled to their own opinion. Even as a newbie I would still prefer not to have some off-the-shelf stamp in a letterbox, and I think virtually everybody would feel that way. Still, The Stationary Traveller made a statement about the proliferation of rubbish designs. Now h...

Re: Policing letterboxers
The proliferation of roadside boxes or rubbish designs did not help. I hate to say this, but I take exception to that statement. Perhaps you can try and qualify it with detail of what (to your opinion) qualifies a design as rubbish or not? Regardless of when whomever started boxing, please, PLEASE ...

Once upon a time (and not very long ago, mind you) it was socially acceptable to tell racist, sexist or homophobic jokes. Our attitudes were changed by information, or rather a concerted information campaign, orchestrated often at great personal cost by the people that were being discriminated again...
