Eye spy a milk tanker- Scorhill Tor.

I found this box VERY wet, outer box damaged, inner looked OK, but was full of sodden book. The stamp is OK, still on the moor. I tipped the water out and re-sealed the inner pot. I took the book home to dry out and see if it had contact details in. None found. So - if its your box and you would lik...

It felt like a good meet. Nice to meet people again. Thank you to all the kind grown up boxers who were so nice about sharing stamps with my lad (Mr Clever eyes, stripey red n black top), he was also rather chuffed to meet some other kids with their own stamps - Oggwell oddbods, Gr**** the treasure ...

My devon stamps arrived in super fast time, they are now out on the moor as the "St Andrews Church roof letterbox walk 2013". I'll be selling clues tomorrow at teh meet, or PM for postal details.

The stamps look to be great quality. Sheet Music reproduced very clearly.

I'm looking at "devonstamps" as a possible stamp maker, any one else used them?

Found , as I was checking the St Andrews roof walk ( its all there, not been washed a away or swaled) , one compass. On Cosden Beacon, Taw Marsh side, but quite high.

If its yours, tell me what it was attached to and other details. We can work out how to get it back to you.

If your new to carving , you will need to practise before you get really good. Start with simple designs.
Learning to carve words is handy.

My first few included logos from local clubs ( I live on the moor), which gave me simple pictures to copy.

I started getting WOM clues by asking people who's boxes we found when they had put an e-mail address in the book. A quick mail letting them know what state their box is in and asking if they have any other boxes they are willing to share clues for, while offering to share my own ( when I stated thi...

Orange/ T mobile are good on the northern moor hill tops, not bad in valleys but a few weak spots in shadow of hills.
