The thing is Nick, your GPS must be very sophisticated because ours only takes us to within 5 meters or if you square it a fair area to search, sometimes we still can't find it!!!!! so its not just a question of just going to the box. And if its in clitter our hearts sink, you know the type of thing...

But I don't think there is anything wrong with using GPS, most letterboxers now use it, even if they suggest otherwise, and frankly I think if the hobby is to grow it is vitally necessary. Without GPS it would eventually wither and die. If you disagree, ask yourself why all ...

We carry a Traveller which is registerd, but never thought to carry a book for other boxes personal stamps, what a good idea...

Perhaps to satisfy all parties you could have the walk without grids and also have grids for those that want them or vice versa, I would be happy with that, it will hopefully please all of the people all of the time.

I am not sure how many walks you would sell if you don't have 5 grid GPS on them. Most people do these walks because they are fairly straight forward to do, I honestly believe that just using bearings will be a huge turnoff. Take us for example we always buy every charity walk at the meet, but would...

Well Done for getting your first hundred boxes. We have been stuck on 950 ish for ages, mainly because I had about 10 weeks of Shingles so didn't go out. Anyway we eventually clawed our way up and reach our 1,000 box at Nuns Cross ( a WOM walk). But it was bitter sweet. We had our Jack Russell Milli...

The trouble is as you say, when its really cold letterboxing becomes really difficult, hanging around filling in your card or book makes you feel worse, then throw in the rain, sleet or snow, next minute your precious stamp you are just putting on starts to run and the paper gets wet and useless. So...
