Dartmoor Letterboxing

May I take the opportunity to explain a rubbish design. Thanks MarkP.It was not me that found it. So not sure have been asked if I could locate the owner as the box is in a bit of a mess. If no owner can been found guess it should be taken in.

Very much so. We are all rooting for Tony & I know every one that has ever Boxed on the Moor appreciates all his hard work.

But from my point of view the bang box used to be the best until the lock and lock boxes came along - the bang box used to go rusty - it used to fill up with water - only cos the owner of the box couldn't be bothered to check on their property

Yes agree ammo is bad news all round.

Thinking back Gemma, I do remember something like that taking place. As you know there are still many ammo boxes on the moors but the owners either don't check their boxes, or they cannot be bothered to replace them with a toughened plastic version. I thought that Ammo boxes were not allowed on the Moor.
