Oh Dear, not a well visited area - so probably still there. It would perhaps help if you could say which part of Cut Hill though.

Another 'easy route' is going in from Highdown behind the Dartmoor inn. over the Lyd, Doe tor, Hare tor, Watern Oak and then up to Fur tor. I watched a video on You Tube a while back from Tony Hobbs. He uses that route all the time when he camps overnight. Check his videos out.

Hi there are loads all over the moors. There are several series of boxes from them as well. The one on Cut Hill has many boxes off it and is right at the top just down from the Jew Stone.

Hi, can you let Malcolm Aldridge know about this please - then if its not claimed by the next update he can put a note on there - always assuming it belongs to a letterboxer

You could have a stroll out to Cut Hill - plenty of older boxes up there hidden in the peat banks - definately no clitter. Also Amicombe Hill should house a few old ones, but you would be very lucky to find them

Hi welcome to the forum - if you are staying in Chagford then a good place for boxes is probably around kes Tor area. Easy to park and lots of nice walks around there. Not a good idea to site it on meldon as very few boxes stay on there - part farmer and part LBT taking them off

Hi Mark - that is the quickest route but not the easiest. Some tend to park at Postbridge and go up drift Lane, Broadun, Sandy Hole Pass, Cut Hill then over the top to Fur tor. Trying to get up broadun though is a killer but after that it is fairly easy walking especially now we have had a dry spell...

Thanks for bringing this to our attention Nik - I've signed it and hope everyone on here does too. Its only when houses, and industrial estates start taking over our green spaces that people will start to jump, but by then it will be too late :x

Yeah, all sorted and both stamps identified. Gone Home is box number 43021 and was part of a Scouts charity walk in 2008. The other one is a new box which is part of a WOM walk around that area.

Sorry not having much luck with this one - its not a catalogue box as I have gone through the books from 2008. I can't recall a charity walk with a stamp as you describe, so if you can put a photo up, I'm sure that would help. There were several WOM walks out around that area as well. Can't get to m...

Paul doesn't cut multiple stamps anymore as he is concentrating on his water colour paintings. His cutting was supherb and he cut a couple of my personal stamps for me. Worth asking though
