Hi, it might be worth e-mailing Sylvia & Tony asking if they know if Brian Cole is still doing this. It's still mentioned in the front of the catalogue (page 3) so I'm assuming the details are still correct. You could try ringing the number for Brian that's noted in the advert on page 3.

Hi Lisa, again welcome to the site. I hate to say this passing on clues to persons that haven't found the first 100 boxes on their own can be a little tricky. I realise that this isn't you but there are people out there that wish to steal the boxes from the moors to spoil this lovely hobby. This is ...

I know it's terrible what goes on. I have found many a box like the one's mentioned above where nobody cares in the slightest and does their best to destroy this fantastic hobby.

Jo, well done on achieving 100 posts!!!!

Hi Wandering, welcome to the site. As Tina said if you go to the right places and know what kind of thing to look for it will help big time! As an idea, take a peek at my web site, I've placed a small video on it of Dizzy Senior and myself finding letterboxes last week.

I went to Yar Tor on Thursday and found absolutely loads. I wish I'd had more time. I got 15 in the space of a few hours. I'll probably go back next week and finish the job off. It's the first place where I had a few almost jump out at me - i.e. I'd find one or two whilst looking for others. It's a...

Pew Tor, Feather Tor, Cox Tor, Kings Tor (behind Yellowmead Farm), Bonehill Rocks, Saddle Tor just to name a few for you. We will all agree here that there are loads of boxes in these areas. :)

Now one really knows how many stamps there are on the moors. Some say around 10,000 registered boxes. But also bearing in mind that there are hundreds of Word of Mouth boxes, plus non registered boxes al over the moors, so your guess is as good as mine. I don't always find many when I go out where a...

I have got the 2000 badge, plus all the other one's stitched onto my old rucksack. They do go as high as you want them, I've seen one made for 20,000 before!

Well done Monkey's on the Moor & also Rich, it won't be long before the two of you reach the magic 100! It's amazing when you first start letterboxing with the numbers game. You can't wait to get to 10, 200, 500 then the big 1000! I've just reached 2521 stamps so now I've got to the stage where ...

I like it Number 70, I will scan the one I am working on late tonight (shush, still at work till 9pm) and then let you see the one I'm just about to start cutting. Why don't you add to my stamp making tutorial and create a step by step version of yours as well, as a new thread. People will get more ...

I didn't like the thought of you getting depressed because no one loved you PS. sorry for the signature, I wasn't sure how to do it so I asked Kirsty age 11 to do it  :oop...
