49156 – 49171 Dartmoor Wild Wood – The Stroke Association
A family walk of about 3 miles from Goadstone Pond, on the B3212 road from Yelverton to Princetown, just below Sharpitor, heading South West, then West and North West to cross the disused railway line, turning North East towards Routrundle, and then returning in a loop back to the pond. The walk consists of 14 walk stamps, plus a starter and a thank you stamp (in the Fox Tor cafe). The stamps are loosely based on Dartmoor trees and leaves. The walk will be on site from 24th October 2015 until 31st March 2016. 49248 – 49261 Dartmoor Roundels - A short family walk from Two Bridges CP above Wistmans Wood towards Longaford Tor and back consisting of 1 starter/thank you stamp and 14 sited boxes. 49179 - 49195 Monastic Life Letterbox Walk. The walk is in the beautiful Roos / Cox Tor area and is in aid of St Stephens church tower fund, Saltash. There are 15 stamps plus a starter stamp and a thank you stamp in The Police Station Cafe in Princetown. 49231 – 49242 A Birds Eye View Of Dartmoor Series 11 A charity walk of around 3.5 miles in aid of Plymouth PDSA (Charity No. 208217) for 11stamps plus a starter. The walk starts at Row Tor car park and follows the military roads below West Mill Tor out to Sammy Arnolds Lane and back below East Mill Tor to minimize the disturbance to ground nesting.
