I am in need of assistance - Pew Tor

Post by Nik - KOTM »

It has come to my attention that about a dozen boxes from the area have been collected and have been collected and dumped under a slab.
These need to go back to where they were found

The information I have at present is that they are to the North of the tor on the path between Pew and Feather tor

Only up there last fri (27.02) but only got as far as heckwood tor so may not have got to them.
A bonus for a letterboxer that finds this sight but lets hope they go back to their rightful places.
Is this a case of a local 'clearing' his moor!?
Wonder if the 5 missing stamps that i was looking for are amongst them?

Someone is going out tomorrow to collect them. There are two piles of them... which seems to me that they are being "cleared"

Always trying to look for the good side in people - It is evident that there has been a fair amount of gorse buring in this area recently, is it possible that some kind soul has moved them out of the 'burn zone' before burning as i found a couple of melted 'pill pots' amongst the burnt gorse when i was up there.

I know it is a small chance but i might just cling on to it for the moment!

Sadly the piles of stamps had been taken before anyone could get out there.
Hopefully they will go back to their owners, but my gut feeling is that this is the work of the DLT :evil:

<sigh>

How frustrating. I wish I shared your positive spirit with respect to these stamps.

I wonder if The Tops of Dartmoor - Pew Tor was among them?

I had no luck finding it yesterday. Was certain I found the rectangular rock with the grass spine :(
