2022's been another odd year, and I personally find it reassuring that Dartmoor largely succeeds in continuing unchanged and provides a reassuring constancy.
Of course there are changes - climate change seems likely to alter the landscape as it has been altered before. Dartmoor Bylaw changes threaten the rights of dog walkers. But the moor remains a place to freely go and walk. The familiar tors and rugged landscape continue to offer us a space to get away from it all.
How was your 2022? Did you get out as much as you wanted to? What are your plans for 2023?
Looking forwards to a new year
