Thanks for all your help. I got the silva 54 from Taunton leisure on sunday for £53.95 as an early birthday present :)
Hoping for 1000 before the next meet :)

I use that one as well. It certainly has improved my compass skills no end.
next target 2000 - hopefully some time in 2010 (ha, ha, make that 2013)
