I probably will be going but won't be getting a special stamp made up as will only be there for about 1/2-1 hour, just so I can pay up for the year's updates and pick up some charity walks.
next target 2000 - hopefully some time in 2010 (ha, ha, make that 2013)

If things go right - I will be there all day - perhaps but then that depends upon the soggy weather not being soggy - which is unlikely for the meet

If Sylvia's not there, I've put the contact details elsewhere on the site. Just in case you can't find it, her details are: [email protected]

I think the badges are around about £7.50 each and she normally sews them in just a few days.

Not able to make the Meet this year but will be there next year.

Easy solution to te tough decision: Have her reception at the meet! (assuming of course that you survive even mentioning something like that to her - nerves tend to be frayed shortly before weddings!) :D

Typical rainy weather for the meet, but it was great to put faces to names (although I will probably forget them by the next time - sorry). Some super stamps to print and also picked up my new Wise Monks of Old Traveller - what an honour to be part of a new series of stamps - thank you David.

Hope everyone else enjoyed themselves. Some were settling in for the whole day but I only managed an hour. Picked up the charity walks, stamped a few one day stamps and travellers and paid for the next 12 months' updates.

If any Forum members want to add their charity walks to here don't forget to update the charities section so you can reach a few more people.

Not yet in the 100 Club but with a planned trip in a couple of weeks, hopefully I can remedy that and qualify for the next meet instead.

Still, I've had the perfect opportunity to work on the artwork for my individual stamp (traveller?) based on my avatar.
Cheers
