I was introduced to letterboxing by a friend in the US. I work for two US-based podcasts, called This is Love ( and Criminal ( and we'd love to do a story about letterboxing! I'm really fascinated by the story of James Perrott, Godfrey Swinscow, and the letterboxers that preceded and followed them. I also came across this Telegraph article ( ... -saboteur/) that quoted several members of the Dartmoor 100 club about boxes that went missing a few years ago and would like to learn more about the mysterious thief.

If you would be interested to share your love of letterboxing and/or Dartmoor, even if it's a small story, please reach out to me or leave a comment! My email is [email protected] and you can reach me on whatsapp at +1 (520) 481-2889. We're considering sending our show host to Dartmoor for the meet in March and I'm trying to do as much research as possible before then.

A little background on the show:

We're former NPR producers and reporters, and Criminal is one of the 30 most popular podcasts in the US. This is Love is our newer project, with more than a million downloads per episode per month.

Phoebe Judge hosts both podcasts, and both shows feature in-depth, first-person storytelling. Time Magazine called This is Love one of the best shows of the year, and says "listening can feel like a contact high." Criminal has been called the "thinking person's true crime podcast," and New York Magazine said the show "understands crime as something sociological, historical, even anthropological — that crime is a function of people, time, and place."

Thank you all so much and happy letterboxing!
